Join us for a guided tasting of seven exceptional wines crafted in a refined Old-World style from grapes grown right here in Minnesota. On Thursday, April 23, we’re excited to welcome Kevin and Sigourney Wehrs of Wooden Link Vineyard, who will lead you through the tasting.
The lineup features three whites, three reds, and a rosé—each made exclusively from 100% Minnesota-grown varietals. Sigourney and Kevin will share insights into each wine’s character, along with the winemaking techniques and vineyard practices behind it. Sigourney is a WSET Level 2 certified taster; Kevin is the winemaker, trained at the University of California, Davis.
After spending 13 years living in Europe, Kevin and Sigourney developed a deep appreciation for Old World wines. They’ve brought that philosophy back to Minnesota, applying it to cold-hardy, hybrid grape varieties with impressive results—producing wines that are crisp, clean, balanced, and layered with complexity.
