Matt Rawn is a fourth-generation family farmer. What was once Schmidt Orchards, planted by his grandfather, Phil Schmidt in 1951, became Copeland Vineyard which he and his brother planted in 2000 with their uncle, Ron Schmidt.
In 2006, Matt and his brother, Patrick, purchased the winery from their family and set out to make exceptional wines at truly affordable prices! Today they tend 300 acres of vineyards and all of their wines are estate-driven.
Two Mountain Winery was the first certified sustainable winery in Washington and led the sustainability movement there. It is their goal to preserve the land for those who follow.
